100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course in Rishikesh, India (Semester 1 and 2)

Arogya Yoga School, Registered Yoga School with Yoga Alliance USA offers 100 Hours Traditional Hatha, Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India. This course is convenient for those students who have an intention to complete 200 hours course in two divisions. The chief objective for 100 hours yoga teacher training is to create awareness of yoga and help you to find joy in your practice at a pace that is convenient for you. This 100 Hours Yoga Program is structured for those exploring for short term courses and is offered in two semesters. The first semester (Semester 1) allows the student to study the first two weeks out of the four week 200 hour teacher training curriculum. Students returning to Arogya Yoga School can complete the 200 hour curriculum by enrolling in the 100 hour Yoga Teacher Training Course (Semester 2), upon completing their first semester. Students may return to Arogya Yoga School to complete their 200 hours of training any time within 30 months of completing the 100 hour Yoga Teacher Training Course (Semester 1).

You have to prepare yourself for the day with the enthusiastic mindset so that it reflects throughout the day. Early risers often have very well established sleep routines. This means going to bed early, and most likely at the same time every day is also a practice of discipline in the path of yoga.

According to tridosha theory (one of the fundamental theory of Indian medicine), the human body is made by three basic constituents called tridoshas, which are Vata( mechanical functional constituent of the body), Pitta(chemical functional constituent of the body) and Kapha( material functional constituent of the body).If any imbalance in the constituents in the body leads to diseases. Yoga recommends six purification processes to get and keep the equilibrium of these tridoshas. They are called as Shat kriyas

Chanting helps the practitioner experiences a clearing of consciousness, peace of mind, and relief from unwanted drives and habits. As one develops more realization by chanting, he perceives the original, spiritual existence of the self. According to the Bhagavad-gita, this enlightened state "is characterized by one's ability to see the self by the pure mind and to relish and rejoice in the self "

Teaching starts from early in the morning.

Respectful behavior is mandatory at all times on and off the premises.

Course fees are non-refundable.

Before departure from Arogya Yoga School, students must return all books from the library.

Non veg. food, smoking and drinking alcohol are not allowed on the Arogya Yoga School premises.

chakraGeneral Rules

Silence should be maintained between 10 PM until the morning.

Regular home work should be completed.

All classes are mandatory to attend unless you are ill.

As a part of the evaluation procedure there will be an assessment for certification.

Arogya Yoga School reserves the right to disqualify any students at anytime during the course for misconduct.

Eating and drinking (anything other than water) is NOT ALLOWED in the yoga halls.

Use of electronic gadgets (i.e., mobile phones, laptops, tablets) during lectures is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

During asana practice leave all jewelry, books, extra clothing, book bags and purses in your room. Only yoga mat and water bottles permitted in yoga hall.

Management expects all students to clear your practice space immediately following your practices.
