It&#8217;s situated on the banks of the Ganges River, surrounded by hills on three sides.\u00a0The whole town is considered to be sacred and it\u2019s believed that meditation there leads to salvation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"textColor infoSpace\">The weather is good throughout the year, however summers (May-June) could be a little warm. However, this is the peak season here as white water rafting is most active during these months. Rains could be a little messy and rafting and other adventure activities should be avoided. October-March has amazing weather, however, it becomes a little chilly in January.<\/p>\n<h2>RISHIKESH WEATHER<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4>NOVEMBER-DECEMBER-JANUARY-FEBRUARY<\/h4>\n<p>are the coldest month, the temperature gets down to <strong>19\u00b0C to 33\u00b0C<\/strong>, and we do not provide room heaters, so if you are doing the course during December-early March we recommend you to bring warm clothes.<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>APRIL TO AUGUST &#8211;<\/h4>\n<p>hot &amp; rainy weather &#8211; light cotton clothes are recommended, as the temperature can get even to 35\u00b0C.,. September is the ending of the rainy season. Still if you coming during these month umbrella\/raincoats are recommended.<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>OCTOBER TO MARCH &#8211;<\/h4>\n<p>weather in Rishikesh varies from pleasant to cold and woolen clothes, jackets etc. are recommended. The temperature is averagely around 32-33 C.<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>BEST TIME TO VISIT RISHIKESH<\/h3>\n<p>Rishikesh can be visited all through the year, may avoid the May month when the temperature reaches maximum.
